Aloha My family visited Hawaii for the first time. My mother was the only one who is a frequent visitor. Anyway she told us about this restaurant in Makawao and told us it was really good food. So we traveled from Maui to Makawao and first off it's a gorgeous drive, so much green. The first time we came we had a Waitress that had very good choices and made us feel comfortable. She recommended everything we ordered Pasta to the drinks, the bread was delicious. We had such a good impression of the food and atmosphere that we came back the next day, unfortunately we did not know you can request ask for the same waitress. We sat down in someone else’s area. But we were lucky that she was there as well. And again she recommended great entrees. I can't remember her name but she was from California. We all miss your sense of humor and your good recommendations. My family can't wait to visit again. I loved the drinks: Mango Martinis, all the dishes are home made and they even make their own pasta and bread, desserts. The fish melted in our mouths. (We all shared everything) Aloha From the Mainland- San Gabriel, CA

Great place for the entire family to eat. service is superior, food is great quality, and being new on the island, Casanova is now a family favorite.

What a fun place. Great food. reasonable prices, people watching all day long. Refreshing to find a place where Maui residents actually love to go and enjoy themselves. Elegant yet casual and entertaining. Authentic Italian food, yet some great seafood preparations from the Pacific cusine school. and the pizzas...tossed in front of your eyes and baked in a woodfired Pizza oven. My best pizza since I was in Naples. Worth the drive.

The food here is outstanding. It's consistent. It's Tasteful. It's priced reasonably. No matter what type of food, it's all wonderful....the appetizers (I suggest trying the seared ahi and the calamari)....the pasta (rigatoni beverly hills is my favorite).....the entrees (filet mignon w/ the brandi demiglaze sauce, yummy !)....desserts (creme bulee with chunks of fruit)....pizza (made in a wood burning oven, do i need to say more)....i really love the food here. i had moved away to nevada for a couple of years and during my time there, i did not find a restaurant that topped casanova. Italian food is definitely at the top of my list, so i have tried many different Italian restaurants in Nevada and nothing compared to Casanova Restaurant.

I love Casanova! How boring life Upcountry would be without it! Great food, reasonable prices, always friendly service. I think I patronize it weekly! I love the ravioli, the Duck and the all the pizzas. Hard to find so much variety and so much quality.
