Containing a vast range of the habitats that the Hawaii islands display, Haleakala National Park runs from mountaintop to ocean beach, with mile after mile of trails to explore by foot. The three major areas of the park are the summit area, the wilderness area and the coastal Kipahulu area. For multi-day adventures, try camping right in the park to better start your day off early and see more of the amazing volcanic landscapes, lush forests and stunning ocean vistas. The park sits on the very southeastern edge of Maui and stretches over 10 miles into the island's interior.
